L'Enfant S. Physical Theatre was founded by Yao Sun-Teck, a physical mime performer trained in France. Yao was a recipient of the Cloud Gate Wanderer Project, which supported his three-month "Mime on the Move" series of outdoor improvisational performances across China. Since 2012, Yao has led Wild Child in the "Mime on the Move – Taiwan’s Hidden Corners" residency project, traveling across Taiwan to engage with rural areas, Indigenous communities, orphanages, traditional markets, and farmlands.
